I've always been a reader and a writer. From my earliest school memories, I loved reading picture books, exploring libraries, and creating short stories. Books filled my walls as their stories filled my soul. In adulthood, I discovered my passion!
My passion is writing children's picture books that include my farming experiences. Take my Becki four-picture book adventure series as an example. Becki and the Trailer Kids (Book 1) is about raising kids (baby goats) and the fun and challenges they present. Book 1 will launch in Spring 2024, followed by three more Becki adventure books that include goats, calves, Canada geen and hummingbirds.
All children want adventure, and books become portals to new adventures. Perhaps the ‘transported’ listener/reader will begin to author their own stories. That is my greatest wish!
